DOOR DECORATING CONTEST

SHOW YOUR TEAM SPIRIT TO EVERYONE ON YOUR DECK

WHAT'S THIS DOOR DECORATING STUFF ALL ABOUT?

If you’re new to cruising, you might be wondering why people decorate their cabin doors. After all, you don’t do that at a hotel or guest house, but there are a few good reasons to decorate your cabin door on a cruise.

  • Decorating your cabin  door can help you find your room. Cruise ships are big, and it can be easy to get lost. If your cabin door is decorated, you’ll be able to quickly and easily find your way back to your room, even if you’ve had a few too many drinks at the onboard bar.

  • Door decorations can make your room more festive. A decorated cabin door can add a touch of fun and personality to your room. It’s a great way to celebrate a special occasion or just show off your sense of style.

  • It can help you meet new people. If your cabin door is decorated, it’s more likely that people will stop by to say hello. This is a great way to meet new friends and make memories that will last a lifetime.

YES, BUT YOU SAID CONTEST...

Ah yes. Our Cruise Host team will begin judging the doors on Day 2 of the cruise. Ribbons will be placed on the top 3 cabins on Day 3 of the cruise, and our top overall cabin will receive a medal at our Awards Show on the last sea day!

DOOR DECORATING DETAILS & RESTRICTIONS

Cabin doors are 22”x80” except for the ADA accessible rooms. The doors are NOT magnetic, but the walls around them are. Carnival requests that no tape be used to attach your decor, however this is not strictly enforced. You can read Carnival's FAQ on door decorating here
