You'll use the Carnival HUB app throughout your voyage, and we suggest downloading it before you ever get onboard.

Use the Carnival HUB app to share your cruise countdown with friends, then explore and book shore excursions, spa treatments, drink packages and more. When the time comes, you may also check-in and obtain your boarding documents.

As you board your ship, connect to Carnival’s Wi-Fi to view what’s happening, weather, dining menus and more! Onboard internet purchase is NOT required to use the Carnival HUB app.

ARRIVAL TIP: DROP OFF CHECKED BAGS FIRST

Whether you are parking remotely and shuttling over or if you're parking across the street, we suggest going by the cruise terminal first to drop off all your checked luggage with the porters.​ Whether you're walking from your parking lot or taking a shuttle, checking your bags before you park will leave you with one less thing to lug around.

PARKING

Most parking lots on the Island require a reservation and payment in advance. A simple google search for "Galveston Cruise Parking" will provide you with all the choices you need. Many of these will offer shuttle service to the terminal, but be sure to check the details before you book.

BOARDING EXPERIENCE 

You’re almost there! Here’s what will happen when you enter the terminal

• Arrive during your scheduled boarding time frame. Passengers arriving early or late will be sent to an overflow boarding line.

• Your travel documents will be checked by a Carnival representative several times. Keep your boarding pass and travel docs in hand until Carnival personnel tell you to store them.  

• You'll go through security much like an airport. This will include an x-ray of your bags and walking through a metal detector.  

• Last stop before you get on the ship is a final check-in with the cruise line staff. They will verify your travel documents, confirm your method of payment on for onboard expenses, and invite you to the waiting area. They may also take your picture, depending on the type of travel document provided. Oftentimes your passport photo is imported digitally. 

 

CABIN ACCESS

The Hotel Department works tirelessly throughout the cruise, but perhaps never moreso than embarkation day when they completely turn over all 2,687 cabins on our vessel. Your cabin will be ready around 1:30PM.
